Sustainably made in Yorkshire.
Honest charcoal for barbecues, forges, gardens and artists
I make charcoal here in Yorkshire for these main uses:
BBQ & Cooking High quality lumpwood charcoal for grilling, smoking and pizza ovens
Blacksmith & Forge work Consistent, clean burning charcoal for reliable forge heat
Art and Crafts Natural willow charcoal for sketching, shading and pigments
Gardeners Natural and graded specifically for better plants and compost
Reptiles and Terrariums - Natural filter for healthy environment control

I'm Garry. I work in Yorkshire woodlands - coppicing, planting, managing and improving it - and I turn that wood into charcoal using a retort kiln; a cleaner, more efficient process that produces a consistently better product.
All the charcoal is made here in Yorkshire, not from overseas with untold damage to natural rainforests.
Just a Yorkshire bloke who knows his wood, knows his charcoal and gives a damn about doing it properly
Coppicing has been practised for centuries, it improves woodlands, increases natural resources and supports it's biodiversity. It's unfashionable because it's low-tech. That suits me fine
Whether you are firing up a barbecue, running a forge or tending an open cooking fire - you deserve to know exactly what you're burning and where it came from
