Who this charcoal is for..
Ideal for :
Best used for:

Traditional craft deserves reliable fuel.
Our Blacksmiths grade is the same quality Yorkshire hardwood charcoal, precision graded for the forge. Large enough to build a proper fire, small enough to set a consistent hot bed - it does exactly what you need it to do.
Charcoal lights easily, burns cleanly and slumbers longer than coke. Noticeably less sulphur and smoke - your forge air stays cleaner and your metalwork isn't compromised.
Use it on its own or as part of a mixed fuel setup - it works either way.
Blacksmithing is one of the oldest crafts there is. Your fuel should be worthy of it.
Available for delivery across Yorkshire by arrangement. Bulk orders welcome.
How do you use Charcoal in a forge?
In simple terms, a smaller bed and a gentler airflow - but you can read
in more detail here
Does Charcoal replace Coke?
Not always - Coke can burn longer but produces more Sulphur, smoke and clinker. Charcoal is ideal for small, detailed work, forge welding, exhibition or heritage work or where a strong edge ( e.g. axe and knife producers ) is needed
Do you deliver?
I can deliver across Yorkshire as well as posting out to Mainland UK - get in touch with your enquiry here
